Welcome to our weekly look at Pac-12 basketball. We take a quick look at what happened in the past week and breakdown the best games in the week to come.
Top 3 upcoming games: We get to be a little selfish this week since the Colorado Buffaloes are the only remaining Pac-12 team with zero losses and they head to Northern California for their first conference road games of the season. These two games should tell us a lot about our Buffs. One out of two would be a victory, both of them would be time to reassess our expectations for this team.
Colorado Buffaloes at California Golden Bears, Thursday, 9:00 p.m., Comcast Sports Net California: This is a huge test for the Buffs and should tell us a lot about this edition of the Buffaloes. Haas Pavilion is a tough place to play and Colorado struggled mightily on the road in the Big 12 last year. A win here would force the media to take notice of this CU team.
Oregon Ducks at Arizona Wildcats, Saturday, 1:30 p.m., CBS: A road win for Oregon in Tucson would be a huge victory for team, but Arizona is most likely going to be too tough of an out for the Ducks. After a tough loss to UCLA, the Wildcats hope to get two wins this week to stay near the top of the conference rankings.
Colorado Buffaloes at Stanford Cardinal, Saturday, 2:00 p.m., Fox Sports Net: Most likely, this will be an opportunity to earn a crucial road split for Colorado. We will have a better idea of what to expect after Thursday's game, but this should be the easier of the two games this week, but not by much.

I don't know
I really think both of these games are very winnable, I know Cal is tough at home, but I don’t think they are as good as advertised (IMO), I really liked how this team is starting to really play well together, coming in losing your top scorers from last season, I expected this team not to come out of the gate red hot, but figured they would grow and come together and figure out their strengths and weaknesses as the season progressed, I think Boyle has them coming together well now, but the road is a different beast than home.
