The game just got started. We've got Ryan Miller and Tyler Hansen in the game. Ryan Miller is listed as a tackle. Reports I read on him during the week were less than kind. Didn't see anything on Hansen, either positive or negative.
The East starting off with the ball, so we'll see how the West's lineup shapes up here in a minute.
We also had Rodney Stewart in the Casino Del Soul game last week. In the one series I saw where he got extended time, he looked only OK, and so, so small. Looked good catching the ball though, and scored his team's first TD on a plunge.
If anything interesting happens, I'll update until the basketball game starts. At that point, the TiVo gets fired up. What the hell is the minimum word count here? Jesus.
What else s going on? Oh, tennis opened the season with a win over Air Force. There, happy FanPost word counter?

Chandler Harnish starts out at QB
Ryan Miller at RT

Miller didn't do anything bad on the first series, but the drive stalled with a Harnish fumble on the exchange
not sure who Miller was going against, so let’s call him Dave. Suck it, Dave!

West defense is atrocious so far

Ryan Miller looking good run blocking in the 2nd series
gets a shout out by Mayock and Charles Davis both.

Miller continues to look good in run blocking. OK in pass defense
except for one running play, where the pass rusher got underneath him and blew up the play

TD West. Miller still looks pretty good

Hansen practicing the center exchange on the sideline

West goes onside,
Hansen in at QB
Phil Fraser - January 21, 2012
Miller out
Phil Fraser - January 21, 2012
thanks, NFL Network, for putting a not CU logo under Hansen's picture
Phil Fraser - January 21, 2012
wait, I think it was a W for West
Phil Fraser - January 21, 2012
Hansen coldly efficient
marched right down the field, completed every pass. Qb draw for 7 and then QB draw for 3 into the end zone.

so in 2 all star games, the Buffs have 2 rushing TDs
hand the ball off to Miller!

meh. It is what it is
Hopefully we won’t be thinking that after Wood or Hirschman step up this year.
Phil Fraser - January 21, 2012
or two.

I still don't understand why Hansen gets so low under center
I think it’s a vision thing, but I’m really curious
Phil Fraser - January 21, 2012
Dan Persa now in at QB, just to kneel
Phil Fraser - January 21, 2012
Ryan Miller back in
Persa @ QB. But I’m gonna record the rest of this and switch to hoops.

Wish I would of gotten to see this
just looking at the box score it looks like Hansen could of been the games MVP. I always said if the guy had good protection and good WRs to throw to he would of been a really solid QB. Wouldn’t it be crazy if he actually got a shot in the NFL? (with all the struggles he had here) I still kind of doubt he will but I’ll be rooting for him and it looks like he made the most of his opportunity yesterday.
